Caspi Shipping & Transport Services, Inc. is a new player in shipping and logistics industry. Established in year 2016, it is a subsidiary of Cebu Asiatic Shipping & Port Services, Inc. – a company owned by Japanese investors (40%) and Filipino capitalists (60%), and providing supports services to Tsuneishi Heavy Industries.
CSTSI has one sea vessel (LCT – Caspi 1) that is operating currently in Luzon and Visayas area transporting rolling cargoes and vibro sand. It also has a box barge and a tugboat that are available for lease anytime.
The company is planning to procure one more landing craft transport (LCT) in 2024 to take advantage of the high demand due to the build and build program initiated by the then President Duterte and continued in the current administration of current President BBM.
